Arthur Murray Dance Studio Inner West welcomes you to a unique space for your private party or celebration.
Conveniently located in Leichhardt, we offer venue hire with a spacious dance floor, dance entertainment and catering options. We can tailor our services to suit your needs. We aim to take the stress out of your event so you can focus on being fabulous and having an amazing time.
Our Services

Use the space as photographed. One of our team members will be on site to help with use of music, microphone and lighting which are all included in the venue hire fee.
Max Capacity - 150 Seated or 200 standing or enjoy more dance floor space for more intimate events.
Hire our venue for $200 per hour plus $200 cleaning fee
(Min 4 hours including loading/unloading) -
We work exclusively with Bespoke Catering, who have have tailored three package options especially for us.
The food is delicious, the team is professional and will elevate any event to the next level. Our catering packages are listed in the section below and are all inclusive of venue hire.

Want to add a little something extra to your event?
We offer a range of options for dance entertainment and can tailor to your special occasion.
Add a professional floorshow for that wow factor, where a couple will perform three show numbers in costume.
Or include a dance class taster. This is an amazing icebreaker where we get your guests up and moving by showing them the basics of some of the most popular dances.
An example of a dance class taster that matches the theme of your event could be for a birthday party - all music from the year you were born or having a 20s night - we can teach Charleston and Swing Dancing.
We also like to include lots of partner changes to get your guests mingling.

Dancing is a great way to connect and build any team. We make learning fun and beginner friendly.
We can teach through a classic dance class, dance based game or even a guided dance challenge. We are happy to guide your team through a combination of the above or we can personalise this service for your specific needs.
Our workshops typically run for 3 hours and are appropriate for groups between 10 and 100 people.

Space can be divided to create an intimate feel for smaller events.
We offer an open floor plan with a spacious dance floor, full kitchen, bar, 2x stages, microphone, sound system, party lights, bar top tables and access to 7 car spots on site with lots of street parking close by.
We are on Level 1 with a beautiful view of the park, one flight of wide stairs and double doors for easy loading/unloading.

Hire our space as a blank canvas for your vision for just $200 per hour (plus cleaning fee),

Beginner friendly dance taster group class (30 mins) taught by one of our professional instructors. This can be tailored to a dance that suits your event. Turn up the energy with lots of partner changes to get everyone chatting and break the ice - $200
Dance floorshow performance by a professional dance couple in full costume. Includes three dance routines with costume changes between - $500
Projector hire and screen - $500
Corporate Workshop & Team Building with a fun and engaging dance experience. Perfect for 10 to 100 people, zero dance experience required, personalised workshops. We can do shorter of longer options but typically recommend 2 hours - $30 per person (min 10 people)
